Sabah, Thailand to jointly promote wellness events

The International Wholistic Wellness Conference & Expo (IWWCE 2024) in Kota Kinabalu has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Thailand Wellness Asia Summit 2024 (TWAS 2024) to jointly promote wholistic wellness events globally.

The partnership aims to advocate for medical wellness communities and tourism across ASEAN and beyond.

The agreement was signed between Chairman of QiMag, Dr. Jes Lim, and Chairman of CISW, Jacky Ong, at a hotel in Bangkok, Thailand.

The TWAS 2024, organised by CISW, will be held from June 11-14 at InterContinental Bangkok, while the IWWCE 2024, Sabah’s first international wellness event by QiMag, will take place from June 7-9, 2024, at the Sabah International Convention Centre, followed by a retreat in Sabah’s jungle and city until June 16.

Themed ‘Sustainable Wholistic Wellness Lifestyle for the 21st Century,’ IWWCE2024 aims to gather over 10,000 visitors, 600 conference delegates, 120 experts for the expo, and host 30 free seminars/activities focusing on 10 pillars of human wellness.

Upcoming events such as the Xplore Sabah event in October 2024 and the Thailand Wellness Global Summit 2025 highlight continued efforts to spread sustainable wholistic wellness practices.

The conference is an HRDCorp claimable course, offering discounts for group registrations for Malaysian Employers.

The expo is free, while the conference pass is RM2,000 a person.

The retreat offers a transformative experience in Sabah’s prime locations, with packages starting from RM3,422 a person.
