KOTA KINABALU: The Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA) is once again organising the 1st MATTA Fair Sabah for year 2023 at Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) here.
This will be the biggest travel fair in Sabah which will be held for three consecutive days from May 19 to 21 May, said MATTA Sabah Chairman Lawrence Chin.
The fair is anticipated to attract visitors of all categories as 150 booths comprising of regional and international exhibitors are expected to participate.
“This MATTA Fair will be the most comprehensive travel fair in Sabah.
“There will be bargains for everyone to consider upon; new exciting products and destinations.
“There will be great deals and offers from various tourism organizations, travel agents, hoteliers, bankers and airlines.
“There will be 10 per cent discount for early bird which will be given till the end of February 2023.” said Chin who is also the Organising Chairman.
China has opened its borders as well as more direct flights are flying in to Sabah.
More tour packages are available to China, Korea, Japan, Europe, USA and Middle East.
It is free admission to the Fair and it is open from 10am-9pm for the three days. Friday to Sunday.
