AirAsia resumes KL-Pattaya direct flights

AirAsia Malaysia (flight code AK) is resuming thrice-weekly flights from Kuala Lumpur to Pattaya, Thailand starting June 17, 2024.

This marks the ninth direct route to Thailand post-pandemic, following destinations like Bangkok, Krabi, and Phuket.

The move aligns with AirAsia’s ‘Takeover Thailand’ campaign aimed at promoting Thailand as a preferred travel destination.

Pattaya, known for its beaches and markets, attracts domestic and international tourists.

In 2019, AirAsia served over 60,000 passengers on this route.

CEO Bo Lingam highlighted the significance of direct connectivity to Pattaya from Kuala Lumpur, aiming to boost travel accessibility.

Promotional fares starting from RM99* one-way from Kuala Lumpur to Pattaya and THB990* one-way from Pattaya to Kuala Lumpur are available for booking until March 24, 2024, for travel between June 17, 2024, and June 16, 2025, on airasia.com and the AirAsia MOVE app.
