Sabah tourism visits Hungary

The Sabah Tourism Board (STB) delegation has embarked on a tourism promotion mission to Hungary.

Led by Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister Datuk Christina Liew (right), the entourage was welcomed on arrival at the Liszt Ferenc Airport by His Excellency Francisco Munis, Ambassador of Malaysia to Hungary, Slovenia and North Macedonia on Saturday.

Present were Assistant Minister cum Chairman of STB Datuk Joniston Bangkuai, the Ministry’s Permanent Secretary Josie Lai Mei Sing, Chairman of Sri Pelancongan Sabah Ken Pan Ying On, and STB Chief Executive Officer Julinus Jeffery Jimit.

On Monday (March 11), the Sabah delegation will meet the Mayor of Budapest Gergely Karacsony and Deputy Mayor Anett Bosz.

There will be engagement sessions with the Hungarian Tourism Agency, and the National Federation of Rural Tourism.
