Tourism Malaysia, in partnership with the Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG), has unveiled the “Fly Borneo Specials Vol.1 – The Adventure Begins Here!” brochure to promote travel in Sabah, Sarawak, and Labuan via Firefly and MASwings airlines.
This brochure features over 44 thematic holiday packages, ranging from day trips to week-long adventures, encompassing airfare and ground tours.
These affordable packages showcase Malaysian Borneo’s rugged landscapes, diverse cultures, and exotic wildlife.
The launch event by Dato’ Dr. Ammar Abd. Ghapar, Director General of Tourism Malaysia aimed to boost domestic tourism in East Malaysia.
The collaboration between Firefly and MASwings offers discounted airfares and tour base fares to support local holiday packages.
Ammar highlighted the 22 per cent increase in domestic tourists to Sabah in the first half of 2023 compared to the previous year, indicating positive tourism growth.
Ahmad Luqman Mohd Azmi, CEO of Airlines from Malaysia Aviation Group, emphasized their mission to enhance connectivity within Sarawak and Sabah.
The partnership aims to tap into new market segments and boost tourism opportunities for local industry players.
These all-inclusive packages, starting from RM210 per person, provide access to Malaysian Borneo’s attractions, including Labuan’s geopark and shipwreck diving, Kuching’s enchanting city, Mulu National Park, Sabah’s islands, mountains, and wildlife.
These packages are offered by 30 tour agents. The sales which started now is for the departure in Dec 2023.
