KOTA KINABALU: Sabah will host the 6th World Tourism Conference on Nov 28-30 at the Sabah International Convention Centre here.
About 3,000 domestic and international visitors are expected to visit the conference, which will also feature the Community-Based Tourism Roadshow (CBTR).
There will be some 700 international and local exhibitors to showcase their various traditional delicacies and handicrafts.
The event is jointly organised by Sabah Tourism Board (STB), Tourism, Arts and Culture Ministry (Motac) and the United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO).
The CBTR will be participated by 27 districts and 11 sub-districts where they will exhibit and market their respective new tourism products.
There will be an international forum on community-based tourism (CoBT) featuring local speakers from neighbouring countries of Thailand and Indonesia.-HS
