Hilton Kota Kinabalu celebrated one of the most magical times of the year with the lighting of its Christmas tree on 3 December, marking the start of the festive season.
This annual tradition is not only about the twinkling lights and festive decor.
“It’s really about bringing togetherness, the joy and the spirit of Christmas amongst all of us.
“So on behalf of the whole team here, we want to thank each and every one of you for making the time to be here.
“Because with each and every one of you, this celebration becomes that much more special and meaningful,” said its General Manager, Smitah Shah-Boultwood.
As it is the season of gratitude, she also thanked guests for the trust and support extended to the hotel and its team over the years.
“As we light up this tree, we invite you to explore everything our chefs have prepared for us this evening. And I can tell you, they have truly gone above and beyond,” she added.
This year, the culinary team from the Urban Kitchen has created 200 dishes inspired by the Middle East, Europe and Asia to delight guests’ tastebuds.
