Rooftop Bar & Grill at Hilton Kota Kinabalu is introducing a Coffee Rave Party, a unique combination of coffee culture and DJ music.
This concept has gained popularity in Kuala Lumpur but is a new trend for the Kota Kinabalu scene.
An introductory session was recently held to test the concept and received encouraging feedback from the invited guests.
Encouraged by the positive response, the hotel plans to organise the event on a monthly basis and upon request from clients.
One of the key highlights of the party is the free flow of coffee, complemented by an assortment of pastries, cakes and light meals.
The idea behind this party, which runs from 3pm to 5pm, is to provide a relaxed and enjoyable space for people to gather, as the rooftop is often perceived as a fine-dining venue.
“We want to change that perception,” said the hotel representative. “We want people to come here and realise that it’s affordable, welcoming, and suitable for families with children.”
Food offerings include mostly à la carte selections ranging from Asian to Western cuisines, as well as a buffet lunch option.
Guests attending the event can also enjoy access to the swimming pool from 11.30am to 3pm.
