KOTA KINABALU: The Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA) Fair Sabah scheduled on April 3-5, 2020 at the ITCC Penampang has been postponed to a later date due to the worsening Covid-19 outbreak.
MATTA Sabah Chapter chairman Lawrence Chin issued a statement on March 12, informed that the decision has been taken to call off the fair.
“Even though we have the required number of participants to make this MATTA Fair a success, the difficult decision was reached after our organizing committee meeting on 12th March 2020.
“As the organising committee, we take safeguarding the health and well-being of our exhibitors and visitors as top priority.
“We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience that may cause. We hope to see everyone at our next MATTA Fair Sabah. Keep safe and stay positive,” he stated.
