The Sabah Cars and Urban Lifestyle Trends (Cult) car show is set to showcase a remarkable 1,000 vehicles, with international participation from France, Singapore, Brunei, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, and the United States.
The event is scheduled for Nov 10-12 at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC).
The promotion director, John Kong, reported that over 600 participants have already confirmed their participation.
Indoors, the event will feature 140 custom vehicles, including some international entries.
Additionally, more than 500 vehicles are expected to be displayed in the outdoor area. The organisers hope to attract more car enthusiasts to reach their 1,000-vehicle goal.
The Sabah Tourism Board (STB) and local car enthusiasts have played a significant role in supporting the event’s success.
The Cult organising committee met with Assistant Tourism, Culture, and Environment Minister Datuk Joniston Bangkuai, who praised Cult’s commitment to hosting a notable local car event and attracting international participants.
Joniston expressed confidence in Cult’s potential to become a defining event, elevating the state’s presence, especially in the MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions) tourism industry.
The tourism ministry and STB are committed to supporting organizations with bold visions to enhance the region’s profile.
