BNT opens new experience Centre, bringing the rainforest experience closer to guests

KOTA KINABALU: 18 Aug 2026

Borneo Nature Tours Sdn Bhd (BNT), the principal marketer for Borneo Rainforest Lodge (BRL), officially opened its new Borneo Nature Tours Experience Centre at KK Times Square today.

Operated by Innoprise Jungle Lodge Sdn Bhd, Borneo Rainforest Lodge is a flagship rainforest destination in Danum Valley, and the new centre offers guests a welcoming space to discover, plan and connect with their journey into Sabah’s rainforest.

The opening was attended by Datuk Jasnih Dayah, executive chairman of Innoprise Corporation Sdn Bhd, together with Budirman Daud, group manager, Corporate Business Development Division of Yayasan Sabah and Jocelyn Chong Fung Ken, senior company secretary of Yayasan Sabah.

Also present were Freddie Coleman, chief executive officer (CEO) of BNT and Innoprise Jungle Lodge; Sail Jamaludin, chief operating officer (COO); and Esner Chong, chief financial officer (CFO), alongside members of the BNT team.

Located as a new touchpoint for guests, the Experience Centre is designed to make planning a stay at BRL more accessible and personal.

Visitors can walk in to make BRL reservations and enquiries, seek advice on tours and itineraries, and explore a selection of BRL merchandise.

More than simply a booking space, the centre is intended to be a place where guests can begin their connection with BRL and the Danum Valley rainforest even before their journey begins.

“We wanted to create a space where guests can come in, have a conversation with our team, ask questions and get a better feel for what their experience at Borneo Rainforest Lodge will be like,” said Freddie.

During the opening, Freddie also highlighted BRL’s ongoing Local Rates Promotion, which is available exclusively to Malaysians, with a stay period from November 2026 to 28 February 2027.

The promotion offers Malaysians an opportunity to experience the unique landscapes, wildlife and tranquillity of Danum Valley at a special local rate.

Guests interested in the promotion can visit the experience centre to find out more and make their reservations.

The opening of the experience centre marks another step in BNT’s efforts to strengthen its connection with guests while creating greater opportunities for Malaysians and international travellers to discover the natural and cultural treasures of Sabah.
