Sabah is opening its doors to global citizens to experience its natural scenic attractions through the Sabah-Malaysia My Second Home (Sabah-MM2H) initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister Jafry Ariffin said the state government fully supports the sustainable growth of the Sabah-MM2H programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe believe this initiative contributes positively to our economy by stimulating tourism, real estate, local businesses and professional services, while also strengthening international ties and cross-cultural understanding,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He said this at the Persatuan Perunding Malaysia Rumah Keduaku Sabah pre-CNY dinner gala and first installation ceremony, which saw Jenny Ngu elected as president.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this regard, he said the role played by professional consultants and industry partners is crucial to ensure that Sabah-MM2H continues to grow with credibility and trust.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He encouraged the association to uphold high standards, work closely with the government, and continue promoting Sabah as a safe, welcoming and sustainable home for the global community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He also commended the strategic partnership between Sabah-MM2H and Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia to enhance investor confidence, improve financial facilitation and strengthen the ecosystem supporting long-term residents in Sabah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sabah\u2019s strength lies in its diversity, where people of different cultures, backgrounds and nations live together in harmony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis spirit of inclusiveness is exactly what makes Sabah not only a great place to visit, but also a wonderful place to call home,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
