The Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (Matta) Sabah Chapter will host MATTA Fair Sabah 2026 from 17 to 19 April 2026 at the Sabah International Convention Centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The three-day travel fair will bring together attractive travel, tour, flight and hospitality deals under one roof at competitive prices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sabah, located on the island of Borneo, plays a significant role in Malaysia\u2019s tourism development. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Known for its rich biodiversity, iconic Mount Kinabalu and diverse cultural heritage, Sabah continues to attract domestic and international travellers seeking authentic, nature-based experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fair aims to further strengthen Sabah\u2019s tourism profile by providing a platform for industry players to promote exclusive travel packages and value-added offers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year\u2019s fair will feature more than 150 exhibition booths, reflecting strong industry participation and growing interest in travel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

RHB Bank has once again been appointed the official bank partner for the fair, reaffirming its continued support and collaboration with the event. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visitors can look forward to exclusive on-site promotions, attractive payment solutions and rewarding offers designed to enhance their travel purchasing experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIn conjunction with Visit Malaysia 2026 (VM2026), where Matta serves as a strategic partner, we aim to create greater exposure and opportunities for our members while positioning Sabah prominently on the global tourism map.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIn addition, Matta Sabah supports future initiatives such as Visit Sabah 2027, formerly known as Explore Sabah 2027, with a focus on niche segments including Muslim-friendly travel packages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSustainability practices will continue to be emphasised, and Matta Fair Sabah 2026 will introduce greater participation from local community-based products, supporting inclusive and sustainable tourism development.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) is the official airline partner for the fair and will offer a range of travel options and promotional fares to support the fair, providing greater connectivity and value for travellers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visitors can also participate in the fair buyers\u2019 contest, where shoppers who spend a minimum of RM100 stand a chance to win attractive prizes, including travel-related rewards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
