KOTA KINABALU: Sabah\nevergreen singer Peter Dicky Lee who has stayed long enough in the\nentertainment scene that many could remember has decided to slow it down this\nyear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He is not\nslowing down for retirement anytime soon, but decided to switch his focus on doing\nsomething else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI will cut down on my programmes,\u201d said Peter (pic) in referring to the Sabah beat box battle and Sabah talent star programmes that he organised every year under his Borneo Events Production to unearth new talents for the entertainment industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt is very\ntired travelling all over the places, I am going to slowdown. I want to take\ncare of myself, I am going to take care of my singing career which I had not\nbeen doing all these years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI am going\nback to the studio; I am going to think of me now rather than the people\nupgrading and discovering new talents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI am going to\ncome up with a couple of new songs, in fact I will be going to the studio after\nChinese New Year either in Feb or Mar,\u201d Peter announced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He had already\nidentified several locations for his video shooting such as Sepanggar Island,\nKokol Hill and the tree house hotel situated in between Inanam and Manggatal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI am doing\nthis to promote the tourism attractions of Sabah through my music videos in\nconjunction with Visit Malaysia 2020,\u201d said Peter who has been appointed as a\nmember of Papar Tourism Association.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThere are many\nbeautiful places in Papar that are still unheard of, such as a hotel not surrounded\nby seas but rivers something very unique and we could never imagine it is right\nhere at our doorstep,\u201d Peter enthused.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Besides that,\nhe will continue to produce local telemovie to promote the interesting\nfolklores and heroes of Sabah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI will do away\nwith the usual love story drama based on the storyline related to Kuala Lumpur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt is time for\nus to do our local mythical stories and our local heroes such as Mat Salleh,\nAntenom and many others which is unheard by many people but only the villagers\nknew,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
