She emphasized the desire for them to experience and indulge in a culinary journey that honours the vibrant tapestry of global flavours.

The dedicated team at SICC has put in considerable effort to experience the traditional Ramadan cuisine while infusing inventive and international elements to captivate guests.

Led by Malay cuisine Chef Muhammad Hussin and the culinary team at SICC, diners can expect an opulent array of authentic and fusion Asian dishes, complemented by reimagined classic desserts curated by Pastry Chef de Partie, Chef Marshel David, and his skilled team.

Muhammad shared: “We strive to take our guests on an exciting culinary journey, tantalising their taste buds and captivating their senses.”

To enhance the dining experience, the dinner buffet will feature live cooking stations where guests can witness skilled chefs in action, meticulously crafting dishes with finesse and flair, adding an extra dash of excitement to the feast.

The dinner buffet has garnered significant attention, with bookings already filled to capacity for the evening, welcoming over 1000 guests to indulge in a lavish spread of 800 delectable dishes.

The dinner buffet, which runs from 5pm to 9:30 pm, offers a wide array of cuisines from around the world, including a special royal menu.

As part of SICC’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts, the centre welcomed 30 Tahfiz children from Madrasah Darul Hadis Darsa Sabah and Maahad Tahfiz Sulaimaniyyah Kota Kinabalu, exemplifying its commitment to serving the community.

“As a subsidiary of the Yayasan Sabah Group, we prioritize the well-being of our people and strive to create inclusive experiences for all.

“Through events like these, we aim to foster unity and celebrate the rich diversity of our community,” said Rosmawati.

The dinner buffet coincides with SICC’s recent achievement of the ASEAN MICE Venue Standard (Category Exhibition Venue) Award at the prestigious ASEAN Tourism Forum 2024.

The award was presented to Rosmawati in Vientiane, Laos on January 26, 2024.

According to Rosmawati, SICC’s achievement underscores its commitment to embracing quality and responsible tourism, which will play a pivotal role in driving the expansion and advancement of the business events (BE) in Sabah.
